The first in this series is now online and features the Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa (TESSA) project. TESSA is improving the accessibility and quality of school-based training for existing teachers, student teachers and aspiring teachers across Sub-Saharan Africa. This network of 20 universities and organizations from 12 African countries is led by the Open University in the UK and guides teachers in developing their core pedagogical practices whilst remaining in their schools.
