An agenda for the day, including a list of speakers, follows below: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (ET) PISA 2015: Global Lessons for the U.S. Education System and Economy Andreas Schleicher, director for education and skills and special advisor on education policy to the Secretary–General at the Organisation for Economic Co–operation and Development (OECD), will present a detailed analysis of the newly released PISA results and lessons learned from deeper learning applications in high-performing nations. Linda Rosen, chief executive officer of Change the Equation, will discuss the business community's interest in and work to improve student outcomes, particularly as they relate to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. During this session, a panel of educators will describe how they use the OECD Test for Schools to drive improvement in their schools and districts.
