What's New - The TALIS 2013 results are now available
TALIS asks a representative sample of teachers and schools in each country about their working conditions and the learning environments. TALIS aims to provide valid, timely and comparable information to help countries review and define policies for developing a high-quality teaching profession. It is an opportunity for teachers and school leaders to provide input into educational policy analysis and development in key areas.

How to join TALIS
The OECD is now planning for TALIS 2018 and would like to hear from countries that are interested in participating.
The themes covered by TALIS 2018 are likely to be similar to those currently being explored in TALIS 2013, and all participating countries will provide their input in the choice of the themes.
For any questions or to express interest, contact the TALIS team at talis@oecd.org. The deadline for joining TALIS 2018 is the end of 2014.
Data
TALIS provides cross-country analysis that helps countries identify others facing similar policy challenges. The dataset allows for continued analyses on a variety of key indicators, both nationally and internationally.
